PAAIA makes every effort to ensure that all the communications and transactions that occur on its Web site will be secure. PAAIA never shares with third parties any financial information you provide when making a donation or a purchase online.
All credit card information submitted to the site is encrypted using “Secure Sockets Layer” (SSL) software, which is the industry standard for information security, so it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. Credit card information is not stored permanently on the Web server.
PAAIA Email Policy
We email a newsletter to our readers regularly, and email them about special events or other newsworthy developments occasionally. If you do not wish to receive PAAIA’s newsletter, you may opt out when you receive the next issue. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list altogether, please e-mail email@example.com; enter “Remove my email” in the subject line and indicate your name and email in the body of the message.
We may share emails sent to PAAIA accounts among staff and/or board but will not post them publicly without the sender’s express permission.
