Hosting a Food Bank and Helping Families in Need

The Arizona Persian Cultural Center (AZPCC.org) is a non profit, non religious, non political organization in Arizona that is a part of the Iranian American Society of Arizona. Read what they have done recently in response to the COVID-19 crisis:

“Three months ago the center had to temporarily close its doors to the public due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the dedicated team of active Iranian American members did not stop helping their community. A small loan and grant program was established with the generosity of the community, which has raised over $13,000 and assisted over 13 families who lost their income due to this unprecedented situation.

Additionally, a food bank has been organized and active since April, with all goods going towards over 40 members of the community in need. These initiatives would not have been possible without the generosity of the Iranian American Community in the greater Phoenix area.”
