In a remarkable gathering, some of the most accomplished Iranian Americans shared their experiences with the next generation of leaders. Former CNN anchor Rudi Bakhtiar and the popular actor/comedian Maz Jobrani co-hosted the forum at UC Berkeley’s Wheeler Auditorium on Sunday, October, 10, 2010 from 2:00 – 5:30 pm. Speakers included:
- Anousheh Ansari – First female private space explorer
- Davar Ardalan – Producer, NPR / CPB
- Hamid Biglari – Vice Chairman, Citicorp | Citigroup
- Dr. Vishtasb Broumand – Humanitarian Reconstructive Surgeon
- Hooman Khalili – Morning Radio Personality – ALICE 97.3 FM
- Hamid Moghadam – Leading Global Developer & Philanthropist
- Dr. Vali Nasr – Senior Advisor to the Obama Administration
The event also featured a musical Performance by Sam Golzari of the Elevaters
The event was co-hosted by the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) and the Iranian Student Alliance of America(ISAA).
