Save the Date – IAWF Conference in New York City

September 4, 2013, Washington, D.C. – PAAIA is pleased to announce that the Iranian American Women’s Foundation (IAWF) will be holding a leadership conference in New York City on Sunday, October 27, 2013, co-sponsored by PAAIA.  This all-day event will feature some of the most accomplished Iranian American women who will share among other things professional and educational insights.  The Keynote Speaker for the event will be Sharmin Mossavar-Rahmani from Goldman Sachs.  Distinguished participants  include Azita Aghravi (Commercial Real Estate), Anousheh Ansari (Entrepreneur / First Female Space Tourist), Davar Ardalan (NPR), Nadereh Chamlou (World Bank), Farnaz Fassihi (Wall Street Journal), Forough Hosseini (ICI Homes), Laya Khadjavi (ICE Canyon), Parisa Khosravi (CNN), Angella Nazarian (Best Selling Author), and many, many more.
 
Tickets are on sale now via http://www.iawfoundation.org/ – Purchase your tickets prior to October 1 to be eligible for the early bird special ticket price.  The IAWF has hosted 5 other leadership conferences in California and Washington DC, all of which have been sold-out, so attendees are encouraged to purchase tickets early.
 
The mission of the IAWF is to provide a platform of empowerment and mentorship for Iranian American women of all ages. Through its Leadership Conference, the IAWF brings women together from across the country and the world to exchange education and inspiration about a wide range of issues important to all women, such as how to climb the career ladder, how to find the courage to follow your dream, and why one’s legacy matters.
