PAAIA Unveils Webinar Series

May 10, 2011, Washington, D.C. – As a benefit and free service to our members and in furtherance of our mission to unite the Iranian American community, give it a voice, and build a brighter future for our children, the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) is pleased to present a series of webinars. Sponsored by OmNovia Technologies, these online, interactive presentations will be given on an array of topics from education to OFAC regulations affecting the Iranian American community.
PAAIA’s inaugural Webinar Series, College Admission and You, will help answer any questions students and parents may have about the college admission process. The first webinar, entitled the College Admission Preview – Finding the Right Match, will be presented on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 5 PM PST. The second webinar, entitled the College Application Process, will be presented on Sunday, September 18th. And the last, entitled SAT and ACT Preparation, will be presented on Sunday, October 16th.
The webinars are hosted by two excellent educational consultants, Mary Bavafa and Bibi Malek. There will be opportunities to ask any questions throughout the live webinars.

What is a webinar? The word webinar is derived from web-based seminars. A webinar is a live online presentation during which one or more people (presenters) deliver an online presentation via the Internet.
