PAAIA D.C. Chapter Co-sponsors Panel Presentation on Iran Sanctions
January 26, 2011, Washington, D.C. – On February 17th, 2011, the Washington D.C. Chapter of the Iranian American Bar Association (IABA) will host an informative panel discussion entitled, “2011 OFAC Update: Iran Sanctions.” This event, which will be held at Venable, LLP, will feature a panel of legal experts and officials from the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding the effects of the new sanctions regulations against Iran.
The event will allow for a unique exchange of dialogue between the Iranian American community and U.S. government officials regarding trade law regulations between the U.S. and Iran. The distinguished panel will highlight the practical ramifications of these rules and how they impact the Iranian American community.
