the National Parenting Publication Award for his book, Video Game Play and Addiction: A Guide for
Parents, Kourosh Dini, MD is a psychiatrist, author and
musician. Dini’s other works include Creating
Flow with OmniFocus and his blog, KouroshDini.com, through which
he shares his musings on the mind, music, play, productivity, and
technology.
On April 10th, 2011, the Public Affairs
Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) will proudly join hands with
several prominent Iranian American organizations to march in the 8th
Annual New York Persian Parade. In prior years, thousands of
Iranian Americans have attended this resplendent celebration of the
Persian New Year, Nowruz. Over 50,000 spectators are expected
this year. The parade will begin promptly at noon on Madison
& 38th Street and will end at Madison Square Park, where
festivities will continue amidst the inaugural Persian Parade Bazaar.

who currently serves in the Housing Part of the New York City Civil
Court.
The Public Affairs Alliance of
Iranian Americans (PAAIA) has a summer internship opportunity in
Washington DC available to college and university students. Position Summary
The intern is expected to participate and drive several projects
currently under way in DC including: assisting with planning and
preparing for the Passing the Torch
of Success event, developing materials on Iranian and world
history, as well as several other projects under review.
The PAAIA Mentorship Program represents
one of PAAIA’s core tenets, which is to invest in the new generation by
capitalizing on our top assets ¬ our community leaders. The
program, which is open to PAAIA members for free, gives the younger
generation access to industry leaders across the nation and helps
establish rewarding, and perhaps lasting relationships.
