PAAIA Urges for Electoral College Certification

Washington, DC – Today, the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA), a bipartisan organization that represents the Iranian American community, issued the following statement regarding the certification of the 2020 presidential election results:

“PAAIA encourages all members of Congress to safely move forward with the Electoral College certification. The American people voted and the presidential election results are clear. PAAIA will not stand for any attempt to dismantle our nation’s electoral system and undermine our great democracy by not certifying these results. Doing so stands in the face of the U.S. Constitution and does not speak to the values of our country.”
