PAAIA Co-Sponsors 2011 Pathways to Success: Iranian American Women’s Leadership Conference

January 12, 2011, Washington, D.C. – The Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) is pleased to co-sponsor, The Pathways to Success Women’s Leadership Conference. The conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine, California on Sunday, January 30, 2011. The event is centered on empowering Iranian-American women in Orange County and beyond.
Coordinated by Coastline Community College and the Coastline Foundation, the workshop will be filled with sessions that convey the theme, “Enlightened, Inspired, Empowered!”
The Executive Director of the Coastline Foundation, Mariam Khosravani, states that the purpose of the Pathways to Success Women’s Leadership Conference is to provide connectivity between women in the community by bringing them to one place to discuss hot topics, as well as provide them a place to network and find support from peers.:
Dedicated to trailblazers, this conference will be led by Iranian-American women who have created their own paths, become pioneers in their fields, and achieved both professional and personal successes. With inspiring panel discussions, the conference aims to educate attendees to invoke courage and creativity when they pursue their goals.
Breakout sessions include: Making your Mark, Lead like a Woman, Striking your Balance, Effective Negotiation at Work and at Home, Beyond Business as Usual, Health and Nutrition, and Defining your own Path.
