This year, the American Public Health Association (APHA) is honoring Dr. Farideh Kioumehr-Dadsetan, an Iranian-American who has devoted her life to bringing peace to lives around the world. She will be honored as the first-ever Peace Award recipient at the APHA’s Annual Meeting in San Diego, California on October 28, 2008.
