Ansari Fellowship Application

The Ansari Fellowship program seeks to encourage and empower young Iranian Americans to pursue careers in public service. Our mission is to help give rise to an unprecedented generation of progressive leaders in government, policy, and public service more broadly. In light of incessant attacks on the Iranian American community via policies like the travel ban and the undoing of the Iran deal, what steps should we take as a community to ensure that we have a greater voice in the political process? What should we be prioritizing? Please be specific. *

Now more than ever, civic participation is of paramount importance. This means that we are not just looking for typical candidates from the social sciences, but rather, we hope to inspire scientists, engineers, journalists, artists, and otherwise to get involved. The Ansari Fellowship program requires that applicants secure their own unpaid summer internships. If you have already done so, please upload proof of this in the following section. If you are still in the process of applying and hearing back from various options, please let us know that as well. If you are ultimately selected for the fellowship, we will need to confirm placement with your supervisor.
