PERSIAN THANKS IN THE TRI-STATE AREA

PAAIA NY Tri-State Chapter partners with Shabeh Jomeh in support of PAAIA’s Persian Thanks Initiative

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the PAAIA NY Tri-State Chapter asked all community members to donate canned goods and other non-perishable items in support of PAAIA’s Persian Thanks program.  All donations were dropped off at the Shabeh Jomeh NY event on Thursday, November 17th between 7 – 10PM at Polar Lounge (201 East 24th St at 3rd Ave.) within the Hotel Marcel.

All donations were given on behalf of the Iranian-American community to the Dwelling Place of New York which provides food, shelter and support services to homeless women.  The shelter has helped thousands of women build healthy, independent lives.
